REV.FR. UGWO BONIFACE WRITE A STORY ON HIS BIRTHDAY TITLED

HE CAME TO BE
The event is still vivid in my mind; it was the peak of the Nigerian Civil war. The men in the villages were being conscripted to join the Biafra arm. There was tensions in the air, the inhabitant of the neighboring villages were leaving their villages because of the impending danger; there were rumors that the Nigerian soldiers were drawing nearer to their villages. You could hear bomb shells and the noise of bullets on the roof tops. There was famine, starvation ( kwashoko ), and abuses of various kinds in the land. Amidst this crises situation a young woman was pregnant and was due to deliver. On that fateful day, 15th of December she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. The parents named him CHUKWUMA, meaning ONLY GOD KNOWS. Only God knows what will become of this child... Only God knows the plans He has for him ... Only God knows how this child will survive these moments of starvation, hardship and penury. Trully only Him knows
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” ~ Jer 1:5.
His God was able; He is a God of possibilities, a God who holds the forces of the universe in His hands. He saw ME through those challenging moments till this moment. Oh, what an Awesomely, Marvelous and Glorious God! He spared my life.
Yes today is a memorial of that day of days - MY BIRTHDAY! Please rejoice and thank God with me. Though as unworthy as I am, He finds me worthy.
