Udu Council Chairman Jite Visit Udu Markets, Advises Traders To Shun Trading On Road Sides.

In order to ascertain problems facing various markets in Udu and a way of finding possible solution to the identified problems, the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Hon.Chief Jite Brown visited various Markets in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State today 24/01/18. 

The traders who gave the Udu Council Boss a warm reception, promised to collaborate with Udu Local Government Council inorder to move the markets to greater heights, some traders, while speaking with Newsmen eulogized the leadership prowess of the newly elected Executive Chairman of Udu, confessing that this is the first of its kind in the history of Udu. While addressing the traders in the various markets visited , the Executive Chairman of Udu Hon.Chief Jite who was overwhelmed with the rousy reception given to him and his team, advised the traders to shun trading on the road sides as well as indiscriminate parking by individuals. The various markets visited were Udu Central Market, Orhuwhorun Market, Express Junction Market, Jigbale, Ekete, Ubogo, Harbour Market, among others. The market master Mr. Odiete took the Chairman round the various markets.

On the visit were: The leader Udu Local Government Legislative Arm Hon.Goru Jonathan, Hon Justice Iyasere Vice Chairman Udu Local Government, Udu Council HPM Mr.Ukutsemuya Macauley, Councillors among others.
